Windows 8 Consumer Preview Review - India

Windows 8 Consumer Preview

WINDOWS 8 LOGO

And its time for our hands on Windows 8′s Consumer Preview , The windows 8 starts with this funny little fish logo which directly leads us to the start screen below. Then by creating an windows LIVE id it can be synchronised with the OS, This then takes us to the next step to personalize our OS.

The desktop screen looks as our Windows 7 screen does not make a big difference. The Start button which windows had as trademark is missing and which was previously shown as a start screen with all the features on it.

If you hover your mouse over the upper right corner of the Start screen, you’ll end up with a menu for settings, search, and all that other fun stuff. When clicking on “More PC Settings” after clicking “Settings” in the bar, you’ll see a warped up version of settings that you would also otherwise find in the control panel. Still, it’s very elegant.

The task manager is completely changed. this new look is awesome with some additional features looks attractive, and the copying screen looks are changed with graphs for the speed rate of transfer.

Windows 8 has some really strong points that might actually make it more popular than Windows 7,yet it does not make it easier to work this may be a big hit among the Tablets Home PC users who work for professional use may not like this much as the previous versions of windows. This version adding more of GUI does not stand back in speed.

The big plus of this version is the Apps and games which can be purchased using the Live id.adding some catchy features some places looks very different which really turns us off , Hopefully we might end up with a version of Windows 8 that’s more satisfying in the full version release .
